You make a great point about budgets and the possibility of canceling subscriptions. Netflix has to be think of that...but let's just hope that they don't lose sight of it. At the end of the day, a video membership is purely a luxury. With unemployment on the rise, people are definitely getting twitchy with their budget. @Ryan

I would be severely upset if they were to do something like this. The ability to get new releases...when they are still new releases...is one of the perks that I dig about Netflix and one of the many reasons why I am a current subscriber. In these difficult financial times I think that they would be unwise to give anyone that is looking at ways to cut back on their monthly budget an excuse to cancel their subscription.
