I’ve never been so keen to fail! Sarcasm aside though, I completely agree. Without goals and aspirations, how can one even begin to measure successful or failure? As an artist, I’d say failing is about 90% of what I do. However, through the trials and ebbs, the final 10% of success automatically outweighs the “failures.”

Hey did you know that Robert Redford was a busboy at The Sink in Boulder when he was a teenager? I hope that is not a wives tale.

What a great post! Im humbled. I think you hit it on the head. The issue is that so many people get wrapped up in the moment of failure, they stop moving forward, and that is a real loss.
